The mesh part of the BDM is used to dehydrate the paper mass and turn it into a paper cloth.

   A brief description.

The mass flows out of the pressure box onto the longitudinal endless mesh, where it is dehydrated by means of the deposition of fibers on the surface of the mesh. An endless grid with shafts, dewatering elements, a supporting structure and auxiliary equipment is called a grid table. An endless net encircles, on the one hand, the Chest shaft of the pressure box, and on the other, the Suction shaft (Couch shaft) and the Net guide shaft. In the upper part of the grid table, between these shafts, there are dewatering elements on which slats made of plastic or ceramics are installed, along which an endless grid with paper mass moves in the longitudinal direction. When in contact with dehydrating elements, the paper pulp is dehydrated.

The team of professional engineers of the BASALAN company produces all the equipment related to the paper machine, starting with the pressure box and ending with the PDS, including constructions and elements of the grid table.
